  • Truro office crowned ‘Active Workplace of the Year’

    PKF Francis Clark’s Truro office has been crowned ‘Active Workplace of the Year’ at the 2016 Cornwall Sports Awards. The office was shortlisted for the award after seeing nearly two thirds of its staff take part in physical activities centred around the workplace.

  • Devon Youth Games 2015

    Francis Clark are proud sponsors of Team Torbay for the 2015 Devon Youth Games. James Twigger from our Torquay office is pictured here with some of the other event sponsors. The Devon Youth Games involves hundreds of young people from across the county.

  • The Colour Rush 2015

    The Colour Rush supports South Devon’s Rowcroft Hospice and last year raised over £76,000 for the charity which provides specialist care to patients with progressive, life limiting illnesses. Francis Clark is sponsoring a paint station and will be looking forward to colouring 10 of their own staff who are entering. The Colour Rush takes place on Saturday 12 September commencing at 1pm www.thecolourrush.co.uk.  

  • CHSW Christmas Toys Appeal

    Francis Clark joined other big hearted businesses across Cornwall by becoming a collection point for toys bound for the Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) this Christmas.  Van-loads of donated toys were delivered to CHSW at Little Harbour at Porthpean, as part of Pirate FM’s Cornwall Toy Appeal.

  • Christmas Jumper Day 2014

    Partners and staff at our Truro office took part in national Christmas Jumper Day on December 12, raising £230 for the office's charity of the year, the MS Merlin Centre in Cornwall.

  • Redruth Rugby

    Francis Clark Partner Brian Harvey is pictured receiving a signed ball from Redruth Man of the Match Kyle Marriott at the FC sponsored Redruth vs Dorking Rugby game at the Recreation Ground on Saturday 29 November 2014. The game was attended by approximately 90 clients and staff of Francis Clark Truro Office. We wish Redruth all the best for the rest of the season.

  • Marazion Triathlon 2014

    Francis Clark entered 3 individuals and 8 relay teams in the Marazion Triathlon in October, raising funds through sponsorship for the Truro office charity of the year Merlin MS Centre.

  • Dragon Boat Race

    A team of Francis Clark staff from Exeter took part in a Dragon Boat Race in September 2014, raising over £800 for Devon Air Ambulance.

  • Sky Dive for Lucy's Days Out

    To raise funds for Salisbury office's charity of the year 2014 "Lucy's Days Out", Amy Walker and Melanie Selby took part in a tandem sky dive. One of many events the office staff are involved in this year to raise funds for the charity, the sky dive alone has raised nearly £800, which both Mel and Amy are justifiably proud of.

  • Uganda charity trip for accountant Kayleigh

    Newly qualified chartered accountant Kayleigh Searle from our Exeter office is spending a month (September 2014) in Uganda helping a children’s charity with its bookkeeping and income generation. Kayleigh will be working at the Redeemers Children’s Home in Moyo, Northern Uganda on an assignment arranged by the social enterprise, Accounting for International Development (AfID).

  • Exeter Team Three Peaks Challlenge

    Exeter based Sean Grinsted, Mike Pearce and Glenn Nicol at Ben Nevis during their National Three Peaks Challenge on the weekend of 27/28 June 2014, raising funds for Devon Air Ambulance.

  • Plymouth Mufti Day

    To celebrate the nice weather and raise money for Woodside Animal Welfare Trust, the Plymouth office held a Mufti Day in June.

  • Business Recovery Golf Day

    The 2014 Francis Clark Business Recovery Golf Day will probably be best remembered for the torrential rain that fell over Teignmouth Golf Club! Spirits were not dampened however and a credible £1,833 raised for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

  • Vintage Tea Party 2014

    Linda Jenrick from the firm's Truro office, organised a Vintage Garden Tea Party in aid of Merlin MS Centre - Truro office's charity of the year for 2014. The event was well attended and much enjoyed and helped raise much needed funds for the charity.

  • The Francis Clark team before the ROC 5k in Truro

    ROC 5k Truro 2014

    A Team of 36 staff and partners from the Truro office took part in the inaugural ROC 5k run in Truro. Francis Clark were also major sponsors of the event helping raise funds for people with learning disabilities and those who support them.

  • Pacific Crest Trail

    Francis Clark have sponsored ex-employee Dan Bedford on a 2,650 miles trek of the Pacific Crest Trail, from Mexico to Canada, to raise money for EDELAC, an organisation in Guatemala that runs a school and open home for under privileged children. Dan is pictured here with his trek buddies at the Southern Terminus on the Mexican border.

  • Local Hero Awards 2014

    Francis Clark sponsored the Sport Achievement Award at the 2014 Pirate FM Local Hero Awards in Cornwall. The Winner Elliott Bullen from Falmouth is pictured receiving his award from Francis Clark Partner, Andrew Allen.

  • Somerset County Cricket Club

    Francis Clark and Somerset County Cricket Club have signed a two year partnership agreement (for 2014/2015) which sees the award winning chartered accountants become an “Official Business Partner” to the LV County Championship Division One side.

  • Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education

    Having finished his stint on Torquay promenade, as part of the Paignton Zoo Great Gorilla Project, our Gorilla Francis is continuing his good work with a stay at Hannahs and is proving a very popular visitor!

  • Supporting Devon Air Ambulance

    Exeter Partner Glenn Nicol visits Devon Air Ambulance Trust in July 2013 to hand over £4,000, money raised by staff in a variety of ways including a charity golf day, sponsorship, dress-down days, raffles, bake-offs, book sales and donations. The money has gone to buying a video laryngoscope which provides a high definition image of a patient’s airways.

  • The Rock Solid Challenge

    Thirteen intrepid mudlarks from our Torquay office undertook the daunting 10Km Rock Solid Challenge to raise £1000 for local charity, Rowcroft Hospice.  The Rock Solid Race is a formidable 10km cross country team event where competitors face 37 all-terrain obstacles designed to test stamina, power, endurance and mental strength.

  • Raising funds for Cornwall Hospice Care

    The Truro office have been raising funds all year for Cornwall Hospice Care as their chosen charity of the year for 2013. Here Adam Keogh from the Truro office is pictured handing over a cheque for monies raised by the Cornwall contingent of the inter office cycle challenge. Debbie Henshaw represents Cornwall Hospice.

  • The Great Gorilla Project

    Francis Clark joined in the fun of the Paignton Zoo Great Gorilla Project by sponsoring one of the 30 brightly coloured, life sized model gorillas which were seen in public places across Torbay and Exeter over summer 2013. The project was celebrating the Zoo’s 90th birthday as well as raising vital funds for Gorilla conservation.

  • Wear it Loud day

    Offices across Exeter celebrated with a riot of colourful outfits in support of Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education’s first Wear It Loud Day. The Academy encouraged its supporters to ‘wear the brightest clothes you dare’ in return for a donation of £2 to the charity as part of Deaf Awareness Week.

  • Walk for Wards

    Karen Fletcher and Roz Fisher from the Salisbury office were among 1500 walkers who took part in the ‘Walk for Wards’ event on behalf of local charity, the Stars Appeal.  The walk, which started from Wilton House, home of the charity’s patron the Earl of Pembroke, raised a remarkable £78,000 for the Stars Appeal, a charity established to fund special projects, extra care  and equipment for Salisbury District Hospital.

  • Rowcroft Sleep Walk

    A team of 11 ladies from our Torquay office took part in the Rowcroft Hospice annual ‘Sleepwalk” raising over £600 for the Torquay based charity.  Described as “the South West’s Biggest Pyjama Party”, more than 1000 ladies walked from Torquay to Paignton and back again in their pyjamas raising an estimated £122,000.

  • 12 back to back marathons for Julie

    Francis Clark Partner, Julie Towers, celebrating after completing an amazing 12 back to back marathons around the entire Cornish coast to raise money for a Breast Cancer Campaign.

  • Charity Cycle Relay

    Keen cyclists from Francis Clark took to their bikes to raise money for charity by riding a relay across Devon and Cornwall.  Three teams made up of staff from the Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Torquay and Truro offices completed a gruelling relay cycling from Truro to Exeter to raise a total of £1,475 for four different charities.

  • Clayzar Day

    Francis Clark and Kitsons Solicitors organised a Torquay 'Women in Business' 'Clayzer Day', a mobile laser clay pigeon shooting competition which  took place at Torquay Cricket Club attracting around 45 business women to test their shooting prowess and network with colleagues from around Torbay. Participants enjoyed a lovely sunny day with Pimms on arrival and a buffet lunch.

  • Brainwave Dinner

    Our Taunton office sponsored a charity dinner in aid of ‘Brainwave’, a charity which works with families to deliver individual, home-based therapy and exercises for children with disabilities and developmental delay, to help them reach their potential. The event raised nearly £4,000 for the charity. The Francis Clark team are pictured with Mike Gatting OBE, the former England cricket captain at the dinner in October 2013.

  • Force and Francis Clark 10k run

    FORCE (Friends of the Oncology and Radiotherapy Centre, Exeter) and Francis Clark have teamed up since 2010 to raise vital funds for the charity through this annual event. Sean Grinsted, a partner at Francis Clark, added: “It was a privilege to help kick start the original event and we are delighted to have been instrumental in keeping it going”.

  • Exeter Chiefs Rugby

    Long-standing sponsors of the Exeter Chiefs, Francis Clark have supported the club throughout its rise to the Premiership and proudly continue to do so. Our Sponsor Board at Sandy Park is pictured.  

  • Bring a pound to work day!

  • Highland Retreat – First win for Harry Fry Racing
