"With the introduction of legislation following the Insolvency Act 1986 there are many more options available to assist individuals, partnerships and companies that find themselves in financial difficulties. This could result in the business surviving. However, the earlier the difficulties are recognised, and the appropriate professional advice sought the more likely this can be achieved."

Steve spent seventeen years with a large international practice in the South West, before joining a national practice, again in the South West, working on all aspects of business recovery and insolvency. This has included both formal and informal procedures. Steve's roots are firmly in the South West of England.

Steve has experience in all types of insolvency procedures and has a particular interest in turnaround and business rescue whether that be for individuals, partnerships or companies.

Steve is a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association, and a Fellow of the Non Administrative Receivers Association. He has contributed to a number of insolvency text books covering such topics as Individual Voluntary Arrangements, Partnerships (including Limited Liability Partnerships) and Law of Property Act Receiverships.
