Paul specialises in partnership, LLP and other business taxation, private client capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning, Enterprise Investment (EIS) and Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) schemes, the restricted and employment related securities regimes, employee incentivisation and remuneration planning, domicile planning, tax mitigation strategies and HM Revenue & Customs technical enquiries.

Paul began his career with the then Inland Revenue in 1978 and since 1987 has worked in firms both large and small. He joined Francis Clark in 2004 as a tax consultant from an international firm in London, where he assisted in the formation and growth of that firm’s professional practice and private client focus. He was appointed partner at Francis Clark in 2007.

Paul is a general affiliated member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of that Institute’s Tax Faculty and Solicitors Special Interest Group. He is also a member of the Law Management Section of The Law Society and The Association of Partnership Practitioners.
